I am glad to hear that your company is working with you. I too have filed some papers for help but they have not responded to me as of yet so Im waiting, hoping and praying that they will see that in two years I have never been late until this situation came about.  I too will keep your family in our prayers that all continues to go well.

Thank you for keeping Tony in your prayers as right now every prayer helps.  I will put a call in to get some assistance at a couple of churches in the immediate area.  Something good has to start happening because I know gd only gives us as much as we can handle but honestly Im about to have a nervous break down...

Hello everyone.

I am not one to ask for help often but right now my family can use all it can get. In the first week of feburary my son went to the doctors for what we thought were grwoing pains at 10 years old. He was limping badly and said it was sore off and on so we wanted to be sure everything was okay. We recieved the shock of our lives in the last 3 weeks since then. Tony has been through numerous MRI's. CT Scans, Bone Scans and 1 biopsy of his hip along with one that is scheduled for 3-6-08. He has been diagnosed with LCH or Histoicytosis which is a very rare blood disease and will have to be treated with chemo therapy and hopefully it will go into remission.

We have no insurance and were cutting the bills close before this happened. Medicaid is pending to help with the doctors bills but the household bills are piling since I havent been to work in 3 weeks and I was the major bread winner of the family. My husband has been doing landscaping in between doctors but one of us has to be here at all times with Tony and with so many appointments there are only a few days here and there.  The mortagage is behind (due for this month and almost next already), electric is due, car payemnt is late (looking into selling it for pay-off), house taxes are due by the end of next month, the list goes on and on. We bought our home two years ago and have been fighting to keep it nice ever since. I knew we could afford the payemnt unti lI got a shady inspector and the house started falling in around us, we even had black mold and at one point a mojor infestation of ants which lead us to find that the floor joist were rotted and they were living in it. We have been steady making repairs and fixing things as they break but now I cant afford another repair let alone keep our heads above water.

It seems as though we take 2 steps forward and get knocked 5 steps back and we really need aittle help this time around as we just cant do it ourselves. We have set up a page for friends and family to get updates and read about what is happening. I applied for help through the giving board on ebay and they referred me here to search for help with everything that is happening.
